Italian construction equipment market up in 2019

According to the last Unacea survey on the Italian market, in 2019, as many as 16,927 construction equipment have been sold on the Italian market, 16 per cent more compared to that of 2018.

Italian CE market up in 2018

During 2018, 14,645 construction machines have been sold in the Italian market, with a growth of 16 per cent compared to last year. Earthmoving machines sold were 14,144 (+16 per cent y-o-y), while road machineries were 501 units, up by 2 per cent.

Italy posts 25% growth in CE sales

Italian construction equipment (CE) market saw a sales of 6,389 units in the first six months of 2018, with a growth of 25 per cent compared to last year. According to Unacea, total earthmoving machines sold were 6,157, while road machines 232.

Over the first three months of 2018, 2,713 machines have been sold in the Italian market, recording a growth of 30 per cent compared to the same period last year. The number of earthmoving machines sold stood 2,623, while road equipment 93.

Over the first six months of 2017, as many as 5,109 machines have been sold in the Italian market, up by 6 per cent compared to last year. The sector of earth moving machines grew by six per cent with 4,910 machines sold, while road equipment increases by nine per cent (199 machines sold).

Compact equipment in Italy grows

The ?featherweight? category is driving the recovery in the earthmoving machinery world. Mini-loaders and mini-excavators up to 6 tonne continue to earn market shares on a global scale, improving from 15 per cent of total sales in 2010 to 24 per cent in 2015.

Unacea gets positive response from SAMOTER 2014

SAMOTER, the international earthmoving and building machinery exhibition, has concluded its 29th edition in Verona, Italy. Unacea has attended the show with a pavilion for 22 of its members, and a networking lounge. During the first day of the exhibition, the Unacea lounge has hosted the Construction Equipment Day 2014.

Hinowa has introduced its latest tracked dumper - the TX2500 Traxporter at Samoter/Asphaltica construction equipment exhibition in Verona, Italy. Designed for use on difficult terrain, the machine has a 2,500 kg capacity and its body can be hydraulically tilted and rotated 180-?. The TX2500 Traxporter?s swivel skip can also be operated when the vehicle is in motion. It is powered by a 35.9 kW Kubota engine and can travel at up to 12 km/h.
